A guide for your Carefree care search
The short answers before a decision

Is peptide care a real thing?
Some peptide products have Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, including semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy), in the September 26, 2026 record.
Calling it a peptide leaves two questions open: does that exact medicine have approval, and may it legally be made to order?
Ask for the exact medicine name and whether it is a ready-made product or made to order.
Is a custom medicine automatically forbidden?
Compounding means preparing medicine for a particular need.
As of September 26, 2026, making medicine to order can be legal when an approved product cannot meet the patient’s need or is unavailable. Custom medicines have no FDA approval.
Rules also limit regular copying of ready-made medicines. A cheaper price alone is not a reason that meets the patient-specific exception.
Ask why this product is being compounded and which pharmacy prepares it.
Must I go in person first?
Telehealth is care given while you and the person treating you are in different places, for example during a video visit.
Under Arizona’s October 3, 2026 rules, not every telehealth prescription requires an in-person first examination.
The person treating you still needs a suitable examination and must follow the particular medicine’s prescribing rules.
Ask whether the proposed medicine requires an examination in person or by live video. Ask how any needed tests will happen.
Who tells me the total cost?
Ask the care service for the full quote and the insurer for the coverage answer. Keep the medicine price and visit charges visible separately.
What is the next useful question?
Ask who will assess you, what medicine is proposed, why it fits your needs, and how follow-up works. Mark any unanswered part before deciding.
